I'm proud to be making women's history today by fearlessly reshaping the landscape of the STEM industry. I'm unapologetically challenging outdated narratives surrounding diversity and inclusion, particularly for women of color. Every step I take is a testament to the power of persistence and determination in paving the way for future generations of trailblazers. I am helping to rewrite the script by ensuring that every voice is heard and every talent is recognized. I am doing my part to create a brighter, more inclusive tomorrow.
What has been one of your most proud accomplishments in business?

One of my proudest accomplishments in business has been taking the bold leap of faith to launch Fems4STEM Magazine. Despite facing skepticism and resistance from those who urged me to adopt a broader approach, I remained steadfast in my vision to create a legacy publication that exclusively celebrates the achievements of Black women in the STEM industry. Fems4STEM Magazine has not only elevated my brand but has also shone a spotlight on the incredible talents and contributions of Black women in STEM, increasing their visibility and inspiring countless others. Through this publication, we've forged impactful partnerships and collaborations, amplifying our collective voice, expanding the possibilities for young women aspiring to have a career in STEM and driving meaningful change in the industry. Fems4STEM Magazine stands as a testament to the power of unwavering dedication and the belief in the transformative impact of celebrating diversity and inclusion.
Share the 3 key steps that helped you bring that vision to life:
I attribute the realization of my vision for Fems4STEM Magazine to three key steps. First, I leveraged my connections and sought guidance from individuals who had already accomplished what I aspired to achieve. Their wisdom and support were invaluable in navigating the challenges of launching a groundbreaking publication. Second, I meticulously built a team of individuals who shared my unwavering commitment to the mission and vision. Together, we forged ahead with determination, each member contributing their unique talents and perspectives to our collective effort. And finally, I remained resolutely focused on the core mission: telling the stories of Black women in STEM, providing invaluable knowledge and resources, and refusing to accept 'no' for an answer. Setbacks only fueled my determination to overcome obstacles and continuously improve with each issue, ensuring that Fems4STEM Magazine would not only succeed but thrive as a beacon of inspiration and empowerment for generations to come.
What is next for you in 2024?
In 2024, my focus remains steadfast on expanding my STEM business and brand to reach even more women in STEM and young females aspiring to pursue STEM careers. Through innovative initiatives and strategic partnerships, I will break down barriers and provide greater access to opportunities in the STEM field. Additionally, I hope to launch my STEM podcast, where I'll delve into insightful conversations, share empowering stories, and provide valuable insights to my listeners. Furthermore, I'm excited to introduce more STEM-inspired merchandise, offering tangible reminders of the limitless possibilities within the STEM world. As I move forward, my commitment to empowering and uplifting women in STEM remains unwavering, and I look forward to the journey ahead.
