Lisa’s passion for financial education was shaped by more than 17 years in the banking industry. From working her way from Teller to Branch Manager, she witnessed firsthand how financial challenges could affect families and small businesses. She saw customers lose money to overdraft fees simply because they lacked the time, knowledge, or resources to properly manage their accounts.
Before her banking career, Lisa spent more than nine years in the U.S. Navy as a procurement and budget analyst. Combined with six years of accounting education and an MBA in Accounting and Finance, her professional experience gives her a comprehensive understanding of the financial challenges individuals and businesses face.
