Hello there, I'm Cheré Turner Munn, affectionately known as the "Motivator" — a title that has followed me through my vibrant and versatile career. My journey began on television screens, hosting shows and acting, but it was a passion for connecting with people that led me to something truly extraordinary. It honed my skills and set the stage for a transformative shift into my current roles as a Podcast Producer & Host, and an Accountability Mentor.
Being a mentor is not just a job for me, but a deeply fulfilling passion. I've had the privilege of guiding, inspiring, and coaching amazing individuals into success, not just in podcasting but both professional and personal areas. Seeing people believe in themselves is the most rewarding aspect of my work.
As the host of the growing Storytelling Talk Show Podcast, Something w/Cheré, I've created a platform that is as captivating as it is inspiring. The show is a testament to my commitment to create, inspire, and motivate. It is where I share my life lessons and give others the opportunity to do the same.
But my mission goes beyond just hosting a podcast or being a mentor. My purpose is to live my life intentionally, pushing my boundaries and encouraging others to do the same. It's about making every moment count and striving to make a difference.

Share your top 2 most proud accomplishments to-date:
My #1 accomplishment has been and will always be motherhood. Being the absolute best mom to my daughter and being a strong influence in her life has my greatest accomplishment. You see I understand that parenting does not come with a handbook and nor does it come at the right time, but when they place that innocent little new life on your chest, that you carried and nurtured for 9-months where you battled all kinds of sickness, weight gain and any other issue that comes along with pregnancy, it becomes all the fire and will power you ever needed. At least it was for me. So, even today as I watch her become this beautiful young woman, I sit in awe of God with constant gratitude that he trusted me with such a delicate life.
My #2 most proud accomplishment would be that I never fell victim to the unfavorable things that happened to me. I never quit; I never gave up! I’m so proud of myself for the perseverance inside of me and this extraordinary confidence that God gave me. When I look back over my life and I think things over, I can truly say that I’ve been blessed, I’ve got a testimony! But had I given up along the way… my, my, my – Where would I be? I wouldn’t be the businesswoman and entrepreneur that I am today, storytelling and inspiring people through mentorship and creating streams of income all with the power of their voice.
What advice would you share to help other creatives thrive in uncertain seasons?
I would encourage them to first and foremost, trust God. Because if God be for you, then who can be against you?
I know that may seem cliché, but what’s going to happen, is going to happen. Whether you worry or go to sleep… So, if you just think back to the last time you worried or became anxious, did God make a way? Did he show up for you? Was the outcome greater? I’m not talking about how long it may have taken or what was loss along the way, I’m talking about in the end.
You see what I’ve learned in my darkest hours, even here recently after being layed off my corporate job where I was making over 6-figures, is that God is a provider. Receiving an email in the middle of day on a Thursday afternoon saying that my position and all the money I was bringing home, was now eliminated. And this wasn’t a job that I hated! I prayed for a job that would allow me flexibility to build my own business, not be demanding and pay me what I asked for. And for 3-years that’s exactly what I got. So, when I hung up that phone, I knew that the billion-dollar tech company that just layed off hundreds of people meant that there were more corporations to follow and finding that kind of money would be hard. But I didn’t fret nor fear, I simply spoke the words “there shall be no lack in my household and that God would bless every assignment I touched in my business”. And guess what, it got better!
So, I leave you with this “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord YOUR God is with you wherever you go”. – Joshua 1:9
What is next for you in 2023 and beyond:
WOW! A few things, but in the short term I am on the path to growing my Accountability Mentorship to the masses and sharing the success stories to date. I am also in the process of producing my 3rd podcast! These things coupled with the bookings where my feet have found their way back to the main stage for speaking; both as motivational and spiritual.
