Grace Moore shares HER Vision!

Grace Moore shares HER Vision!

Please introduce yourself to readers:

My name is Grace Moore, Founder of Moore Grace Solutions, a purpose driven financial empowerment firm based in Detroit. As a Financial Strategist, speaker, and advocate for economic resilience, I help people understand how money really works; the lessons many of us were never taught in school. Through personalized strategies, I meet people where they are, with grace, guiding them through building or rebuilding credit, managing the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle, and laying the foundation for financial security that serves their families for generations to come.

What inspired you to pursue your current path or passion?

After reaching my goal of earning a six-figure income in corporate leadership, I realized something was still missing…fulfillment. I had a deeper calling in me to “Help My People,” and no title or paycheck could silence it. I began to see how often underserved communities, especially seniors and veterans, were being taken advantage of due to lack of access, financial literacy, and support.

That hit home in a personal way as I’d become the full-time caregiver for my father, a Vietnam veteran. Navigating the challenges of his care, I witnessed firsthand the emotional, financial, and systemic burdens placed on those who’ve already sacrificed so much. His wisdom, resilience, and lived experience became a daily reminder of the people I’m called to serve.

I knew then that my purpose was bigger than profit; it was about creating solutions rooted in grace, education, and empowerment. Moore Grace Solutions was born from that calling.

Share one of your proudest moments so far:

One of my proudest moments was choosing to bet on myself while still leading in a six-figure corporate role. When my salary was capped, it wasn’t the reason I left—it was confirmation of what God had already told me. I stayed two more years out of dedication to my team, but deep down I knew that no amount of compensation could replace the fulfillment that comes from walking in purpose.

When we allow companies to define our worth by a salary, we risk dimming God's ability to move through the value He already placed within us. My decision to step away wasn’t about money, it was about finally making a difference in the way I was truly called to.

It was scary, uncertain, and unlike anything I’d done before, but I knew I had more to give and more to build. I stepped out in faith and started Moore Grace Solutions, determined to create something that would impact lives and outlive me. Today, seeing my daughter thrive in her own purpose reminds me that my obedience wasn’t just for me, it was for the legacy I’m called to leave behind.

What advice would you give to women chasing their vision?

Don’t wait until you feel ready, move when you’re called. Clarity often follows obedience, not the other way around. Your vision may not make sense to everyone, but it doesn’t have to. You don’t need a crowd to be in alignment, just confirmation from within and the courage to take the next step.

There will be stages to your journey—planting stages, pruning seasons, and moments that feel like you’re being buried. But hold on. You’re not buried, you’re planted. Those are the moments that shape your roots. Surround yourself with people who are not only purpose driven, but who speak life into you, especially when you start to question your own voice.

You’ll want to quit. You’ll wonder if it’s worth it. But remember: the very thing you’re carrying is the breakthrough someone else is waiting for. Keep going.

How do you stay motivated during challenging times?

God—always God. Nothing moves without Him, and I don’t have the strength to keep going on my own. Prayer keeps me grounded, worship lifts my spirit, and His Word reminds me I was called for such a time as this, even when the weight feels unbearable.

I also stay encouraged by tending my garden. My grapevine took years before it finally produced fruit.  Seasons passed where it looked completely lifeless, yet underground the roots were strengthening for the harvest ahead. My mustard greens overflow with seeds, enough to plant again and still share abundantly. Watching those cycles reminds me that God has already placed more than enough inside each of us. Growth may be hidden, slow, or messy, but it is never wasted.

So when I’m building while broken, caring for others while carrying my own battles, I remember the vine, the seeds, and the promise that obedience always bears fruit in its due season. Focusing on the people I’m called to serve, and the legacy I’m sowing, gives me the courage to take the next step, even if I have to do it through tears.
