What has been your ultimate inspiration in this season of business?
My ultimate inspiration right now is understanding the power of pivoting with purpose. This season has shown me that change isn’t just necessary, it’s strategic when aligned with vision. I’ve leaned into what it means to shift, realign, and move forward with clarity. After years of empowering women and girls through my businesses and nonprofit work, I’m beginning to witness the harvest—the outcomes of seeds sown long ago. Seeing others grow, thrive, and lead because of something I helped spark, that’s the real reward. It keeps me going and reminds me that legacy is built in every pivot we make with purpose.
Any advice you can share to help women entrepreneurs bloom where they are planted?
Absolutely. My advice is simple: Own your season and work your soil. You don’t need the biggest platform to make an impact; you just need to start with what’s in your hands. Stay rooted in your purpose, stay true to your values, and be willing to pivot when necessary. The bloom happens when we stop waiting for perfect conditions and start nurturing our gifts right where we are. Be intentional, stay disciplined, and remain open to growth. You are not behind, you’re being prepared. And remember, even in the toughest soil, something powerful can grow.
What’s next for you in 2025?
2025 is a powerful year of expansion for me. I’m thrilled to be releasing my new book, KMP: Knowledge, Money, and Power, in September. This project has been years in the making, rooted in my own journey of entrepreneurship, leadership, and reinvention. Through this book, I’m sharing the mindset that helped me pivot with purpose, build sustainable success, and empower others to do the same. I’ll also continue scaling my work in community leadership and business empowerment through the BWEP Leadership Academy and the Women on the MOVE Summit as we push forward with even greater impact. The power of the pivot is real—and 2025 is all about walking boldly in it.
