When reflecting on my proudest accomplishments to-date, two things come to mind. First, I am incredibly proud of taking a leap of faith and opening my own business, Crown Me Wellness Spa. It was a big risk, but also one of the most fulfilling decisions I've ever made. I love being able to help my clients feel more confident and beautiful, and to be able to do so on my own terms is truly a dream come true.
Secondly, and even more importantly, I am immensely proud of being a mother to my three children. As any parent knows, raising children can be both challenging and rewarding. But being able to watch them grow and develop into bright, kind, and caring individuals is an incredible feeling. They inspire me every day to be the best version of myself, both as a business owner and as a person."
What advice would you share to help other mompreneurs thrive in uncertain seasons?
- Build a support network: Being a mompreneur can be challenging, especially during uncertain times. It's important to build a support network of other mompreneurs who understand your struggles and can offer advice and encouragement.
- Prioritize self-care: Running a business and raising a family can be overwhelming, so it's important to prioritize self-care. Take time for yourself each day to do something that brings you joy, whether it's reading a book, taking a walk, or practicing yoga. This will help you recharge and stay motivated.
- Embrace flexibility: Uncertainty is a part of life, especially as a mompreneur. Embrace flexibility and be open to pivoting your business strategy as needed. This may mean adjusting your offerings, changing your marketing approach, or exploring new revenue streams.
