Hi, I'm Shakiyah Gravenhise, owner of Khloè Bella Beauty. My journey in beauty and skincare started as a young girl, growing up with eczema many products did not work for my skin condition. This initial interest soon blossomed into a full-fledged passion; I studied hard to become a licensed esthetician. Today I’m proud to have created a natural and sophisticated brand designed to help provide people with natural products that nourish and support their skin’s well-being. As a licensed esthetician, my core specialty is corrective skincare for multicultural skin. This involves using targeted ingredients designed to correct specific conditions and enhance an individual's appearance. The great part about our products is that they are suitable for all genders and ethnicities, so anyone can benefit from them! From calming serums to hydrating masks to brightening cleansers, our array of luxurious products gives everyone the opportunity to achieve healthy and radiant skin - naturally! It’s my goal to make sure everyone feels comfortable in their own skin, regardless of age or ethnicity. By providing quality natural skincare solutions, I hope that each person who uses one of our products will be inspired to nurture their own unique beauty and feel confident in it every day!
How are your current efforts helping to propel women forward?
Every day, women of all ages and backgrounds face the challenges that come with living in a society where external beauty is highly valued. It’s not uncommon to encounter people who judge them based on their looks while they struggle to build lasting confidence and learn how to take care of their bodies and skin. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to helping women rise above this injustice by providing high-quality services and valuable knowledge about proper skincare. Through education, individual consultations, and treatments, I ensure that every woman experiences how beautiful she truly is from the inside out—and it starts with understanding her unique needs. My goal is to make sure that each woman leaves my salon feeling enlivened and uplifted knowing that there are still people out there standing with her in her journey towards self-acceptance and self-love. With every consultation, treatment, and education session I offer, I am confident that my current efforts will help propel more women forward in discovering the power of self-care and the strength they never knew they had.
What advice would you share for building a recognizable brand in a saturated market?
When it comes to growing an influential, recognizable brand in a saturated market, having clear focus and staying true to the core values of your business is essential. It can be tempting to try and chase new trends or direction that may yield quick results, but establishing yourself in too many areas leads to dilution across the board and makes it difficult for people to clearly identify who you are as a business. Instead, figure out what you do best and hold fast to those core principles. Make sure everything you produce sticks resolutely to that vision; this is not only great for internal morale but will also enable potential customers to clearly connect with what your brand stands for. Show them the reasons why they should choose your products or services over others - by honing in on a unique value proposition that shines through in all aspects of your company’s identity and activities. With laser-sharp focus and dedication towards truly standing out from the competition, your recognizable brand can remain successful even within a saturated market.
How do you stay motivated during uncertain seasons?
Starting my own business felt like a natural progression in life, with both excitement and trepidation. Making the leap is never easy, but I had a strong reason underneath it all: to provide a secure life for me and my daughter. There were many other reasons that kept me going too, such as the feedback from clients showing their appreciation for my services. It was always so rewarding to see people happy because of something I created. On days when doubts would start to creep in, I'd remember these moments of joy and be reinvigorated all over again. With two powerful motivators backing me up, it's no surprise that the journey has kept moving despite any bumps or roadblocks along the way. My passion for what I do combined with my determination to make life better for my daughter keeps me driven even in the most uncertain seasons.

This year I'm excited to announce the launch of my new line of skin care products. A cutting-edge skin care line that I'm incredibly excited to share with the world. My products are designed specifically to meet the needs and wants of modern skin, utilizing only the highest-quality natural ingredients and advanced skincare technology. I'm also dedicated to offering more than just products; I want my customers to have the best possible experience. To this end, I'll be hosting events, offering mentorship for aspiring estheticians, and teaching specialized courses for licensed professionals.
