Please introduce yourself and your business to our readers:
My name is Seon Smith (Nurse CeCe) and my brand aligns with being an empowering leader in the Wellness and Entrepreneurial space. I am a Registered Nurse and have been in Healthcare for 7 years. This past summer I launched PowerUP Wellness, an innovative IV Hydration lounge serving the Metro Atlanta area. We offer solutions for weight loss, immunity, beauty, performance, energy, and much more. I also am a Christian Passive Income Coach and link aspiring kingdom entrepreneurs with the tools to launch their own online businesses. I strongly believe that change is constant and we must always find ways to cultivate and develop the gifts that God has placed within us. With that being said I will always be a lifelong learner.
How are your current efforts helping to propel women forward?
My current efforts for helping women propel forward start from the way I treat other women. I love to encourage other women in their journey and don’t believe in tearing other women down to get ahead. I support other-owned businesses every chance I get because, from experience as a new entrepreneur, I know the challenges. I believe that a strength of men leading businesses is camaraderie and sharing information. As a woman in business, I strive to share knowledge as much as I can with communities that have not been able to access information that is vital to their health, wellness, and wellbeing.
For that reason, PowerUP Wellness goes out into the local community and educates the public especially minority women about our treatments. We were recently an exhibitor at the Atlanta Women’s Expo and got to connect with many amazing women. Often at these events, 50% of the women we interact with aren’t aware that IV Hydration treatments could improve the skin, reduce fatigue boost immunity, etc, and are not just a hangover cure. Knowledge is power.
What has been your most proud accomplishment to-date?
One of my proudest accomplishments to date has been launching PowerUP Wellness in our first Salon Suite in Roswell, GA. We started out offering only mobile services and very soon could provide in-spa services. This opportunity so soon into our launch came from prayer and networking with other women. I would like to give a shout-out to AK Aesthetics which has become our current salon suite home. This has provided much more flexibility for our clients and we still operate on a mobile basis for group hydration parties. You have the flexibility to see us either in Roswell, GA in the office or we come to your home/office/venue to provide IV Therapy for groups of 2-10 persons (25-mile radius of Atlanta, GA)
How do you stay motivated during uncertain seasons?
As a woman of faith, I stay motivated during uncertain seasons by trusting God. One of my favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” This has given me comfort in these times. In this new chapter of entrepreneurship, there has been much uncertainty but have kept faith and confidence in the word of God. Faith without works is dead, so I pray and act after I receive an answer. This has kept me afloat in challenging times and I encourage anyone going through uncertainty to not give up and persevere.
Tell us about your 2024 plans and how to connect with you online:
My plans for 2024 are to continue adding more top-tier services to PowerUP Wellness that help our clients achieve all their wellness goals. We will be launching our Semaglutide Weight Loss Program in 2024. I was privileged to speak at Georgia Tech on the topic of Fueling Optimal Nutrition and thoroughly enjoyed engaging. I hope to attend more speaking engagements in 2024. I also hope to help more aspiring entrepreneurs get linked with the tools to stop depending solely on a 9-5 for income.
