I am making women’s history by leading the Global Sisterhood non-profit for the last decade. We have helped over a million women and children through our Charity Partnerships and #PopUpGiving internationally and right here at home. This summer, I will be embarking on the Global Sisterhood Giveback 2024 Tour as we go to support our GS Charity Partners such as our school for entrepreneurship in Tanzania. We are helping women who are survivors of domestic violence, homelessness, human trafficking, conquered illiteracy, and so much more from Pittsburgh to Pakistan. History is being made as we help women live their legacies and they become inspired and empowered.
Which historical figure have you been inspired by and why?
I was honored to present Gloria Steinem the Inspiring Lives International award because I was always inspired by her advocacy for women’s rights, her journalism, and her ability to embrace her feminine. I was thrilled when she learned that I am the Editor-in-Chief of Inspiring Lives Magazine and she declared that I am a “Kindred Spirit”.
What advice would you have for women to thrive in 2024?
Be your authentic beautiful self and embrace your gifts and that which you love!
